Club Championship

Cork Chess Club members are given the oppertunity to gather to compete against each other in the Club Championship. This event provides a fantastic opportunity for our members to test their skills, showcase their talent, and engage in friendly yet fierce competition in long for classical chess. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer to the chess scene, the Club Championship welcomes participants of all levels. Throughout the tournament, members face off against each other in a series of intense matches in classical time controls, with each game serving as a stepping stone towards the ultimate goal of becoming the Club Champion. Participating in the Club Championship not only hones your chess skills but also fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among members.
